dub-ba-duba-duba-dub on February 15, 2024 3:12 pm I would recommend The New Age Of Empire by kehinde Andrew’s. Gives you a broad view of the imperial west. It’s not specifically abt the African persective, but it’s great for understanding the foundation and structure of the slave trade.
