I’ve come here for your expertise! I just started reading again and now I find myself spending hours researching the best book to read next instead of just jumping in. So I need some unbiased options to get me out of my research rut.
Here’s what I enjoy: fiction, anything serial killers, mystery, scary, psychological horror (not big on intense details of blood and gore but I can handle some if it’s an add to the story), love a good twist and I don’t shy away from the depressing “messed up” story lines.
A few of my favorites I’ve read lately: Silence of the Lambs, The Only One Left & Shutter Island.
