From what I read so far it doesn’t seem as character driven and detailed as A Song of Ice and Fire and that was my favorite part of those series. How much you fell in love or hated a character. Instead it reads more like an anthology of events for the past 300 years. I’d just like to hear what your thoughts are on it but no spoilers please. Thanks all

It’s literally an anthology of events. It’s a fictional history book. It’s interesting if you’re engrossed in GOT lore but it doesn’t read anything like the main series.
