Just finished a lot of “end of the world/societal collapse” movies and ran out of them, tried to read some books, and my small brain couldn’t understand some if not most of it.
English is my second language, can understand most videos, music, news, etc. but found it so difficult to understand how authors write ✨beautifully✨yet so hard for me to comprehend it, at least for my brain. It’s like i’ve been doing simple maths all this time then suddenly freaking algebra comes in with the letters and stuff. (I don’t know if thats a good analogy lol.)
Anyways, do you guys have any book suggestions for a much more simpler writing style? (Bonus if they’re end of the world or society collapse (or alternate history) kind of genre)
