I just got done re-reading all 6 books of The Queen’s Thief by Megan Whalen Turner. I first read The Thief in high school 20 years ago😳. The whole series has remained one of my favorites.
I’m looking for some where to go next.
I’d love books with the same aspects: intrigue, adventure, politics, and just a little touch of fantasy and romance.
I’m open to pretty much anything.
If it’s available as an audiobook, that’s definitely a plus.

Love the Queen’s Thief!
You might try the Penric and Desdemona novella fantasy series by Lois McMaster Bujold. It’s less intense than the Queen’s Thief, but it’s got everything you are looking for. The first book is Penric’s Demon, and you should read them in Bujold’s recommended reading order. I just listened to the audiobooks, and they were great.
