Long shot here. There was a Christian daily reading book that was passages from all kinds of authors, not just religious. I can’t remember the book

About 20 years ago I had a daily devotional book that would take passages from all different authors works.. Dostoyevsky for example, and then it would take a passage from the Bible and apply the situation.

My dog had chewed it up long ago and someone may have thrown it out. I can’t remember the title or author.
