it took me forever to find a fantasy series i enjoyed, and now i’m desperate for more.
i prefer (but am ok with things outside of it)
1) books written by women
2) non medieval fantasy
3) adult or new adult over young adult
4) medium to fast paced
what i’ve read:
six of crows and crooked kingdom by leigh bardugo: what got me into fantasy. literally my favorite books now
the lies of locke lamora by scott lynch: also very much enjoyed, didn’t quite grip me as much, but still loved
the atlas six by olivie blake: it was okay, the last few hundred pages dragged for me
ninth house by leigh bardugo: another 5/5 for me. loved the real world setting too
priory of the orange tree by samantha shannon: am in the middle of it and its pretty good, but definitely very slow paced
didnt like:
harry potter
fourth wing
