Or something along these kind of lines where we can each both read it and have to figure out some mystery or the perpetrator etc. Main idea that it’ll spark good conversation over it like if watching a show etc. tbh ideally not a long book I’m using this as a way to get into reading as I suck doing things without an external force or pressure due to adhd. Thanks

    1. Any books by Aghata Christie. They’re clever and captivating whodunits that are usually 100-200 pages long.

    2. Maybe start with something really accessible like The Westing Game. Then, if you have fun, you can get into longer/more difficult reads.

    3. The Appeal by Janice Hallett is a mystery story written entirely in documents, emails and messages. It’s like 400+ pages but you fly through it because of how it’s written. It’s also in bite sized pieces of information so it’s good for a smaller attention span, like mine! You gotta figure out what’s going on along the way! Make notes!!

I really enjoyed “Everyone in My Family Has Killed Someone”, because the narrator really tries to take you along for the journey and give you the chance to solve it first
