I’m looking for some dark books that have strong themes of alienation and loneliness. I want to read something where the protagonist is alienated, or feels alienated, or just lonely for whatever reason. On the other hand, maybe the protagonist is facing the consequences of alienating someone else. I’ll read any genre.
Examples: *Carrie* by Stephen King, *Let the Right One In* by John Ajvide Lindqvist, *The Metamorphosis* by Franz Kafka, *No Longer Human* by Osamu Dazai.
