More for my husband than me. He has severe chronic pain, and we’re going through a rough time right now. ( He got laid off and I’m a sahm after I injured my wrists in massage school(just to note, I’m also looking for jobs, he was just the breadwinner and our situation worked better with me staying home to take care of the house and kiddo))
Anyway, I know he’s been having a hard time finding purpose outside of applying to jobs and I know he’s been spending a lot of his empty time beating himself up about his pain, so I thought maybe getting him a book that he could really relate to and get inspired from would be good step.

I asked my disabled partner and she says “I don’t find chronic pain to be very inspiring.”

I have never had chronic pain or illness but learned so much through this book which is sorta about that experience and sorta also about snails. Fascinating read
