Please recommend me a book that is based in the Elizabethan era (or earlier or later, tbh!) with some romance, maybe some royalty, perhaps historical fiction?

Hello!

I have lately been obsessed with this genre of books. Some that I loved to give some further context include The Other Boleyn Girl, The Birth of Venus, Jane Eyre, Rebecca… Really, these are all over the place in terms of time period but I guess they all share beautiful buildings (estates, castles), love stories (no matter how dark or sordid), and some are definite historical fictions. I hope this is enough information?? I have read many other Philippa Gregory books as well, loved some, and others not as much. I have also dabbled in Jane Austen.
