I cannot read without music

My brain is constantly trying to multitask. So when I’m reading, this manifests itself in both reading the words on the page and thinking about various things, leading to a limited understanding of what I just read. I found myself constantly having to read paragraphs 2-3 times, and as a student it was extremely time consuming. Classical music allows me to “multitask” while being able to effectively analyse what it is I have just read as the music requires little to no thought. I recommend trying classical music for anyone who struggles with missing entire sections due to zoning out.
