I’m looking for books that are easy/enjoyable to read when you have adhd. Everything I find is about coping with ADHD but I just a good book. I enjoy adventure stories; hidden treasure and all that

It really depends on what type of books you enjoy! I have ADHD and personally love really good middle grade books, because they tend to be more whimsical than most YA or adult books, but that’s just a personal preference. If you want to try that route, my favorite is the [Nevermoor](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/6a6d5ca1-b2f5-47be-828c-018144d3bbc7) series by Jessica Townsend!

Otherwise, if you want to try a great book with pretty short chapters, I recommend [Holes](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/9aa62cca-1b08-4634-b3f9-f7ee757c80f4) by Louis Sachar, and if you want to try a really interesting dystopia, I’d go with the [Unwind](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/13643974-53b8-40c5-82f9-553b746d3669) series by Neal Shusterman.

And I can come up with recs in other genres if you have any more specific preferences!

My partner has ADHD and he’s big into fantasy series like Wheel of Time, Sanderson etc. He says he likes series with stories that last. He reads but he also listens to lots of audiobooks, which were a game changer for him
