I’m a hardcore audiobook girl since it’s the only way I can cope with LA traffic and is the only way I can break into my TBR in college. Recently I tried listening to “The Sandman” on audible and it really threw me off hardcore. Dont get me wrong, the production value is there; however, all the sound effects and ambiance music made me DNF the book about a third in.
But then I was listening into to the Off Campus series and it was like a breath of fresh air, just listening to the voice actors bring the characters to life without the extra bells and whistles.
Does anyone else get this vibe too???
**I am all for whatever is popular right now as long as it’s a romance or contemporary book. I just don’t want to use my monthly credit or buy one that the audio doesn’t work well with the book book.**
