I’m in law school so I don’t want to be too mentally challenged but I still want to get into more classics.
As a gauge, I hated Great Expectations, the Greek mythology novels, and Shakespeare etc. because I couldn’t understand them at all lol. I got the Bell Jar and Ayn rand but I’m looking for something beautiful and happier.
Is James Joyce or Samuel Beckett easy to read? I’m intrigued by the “stream of consciousness” writing that Wikipedia says they excelled in lol.
