Hi!
I’m looking for a book similar to “The house in the cerulean sea”, “The wishing game” and “Secret society of irregular witches”. Something with an adult warming up to a child/children and “emotional adoption”. I would like it to be the main focus of the story.

Maybe [The Book Charmer](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/20da6dc4-0a19-442f-b175-f3c3f47e9d3a) by Karen Hawkins would fit somewhat? One of the two main characters is moving to a small town with the young daughter of her sister who recently passed away. The two of them initially clash, but warm up to each other over the course of the book. Also, one I haven’t read yet but that might also fit is [Nothing to See Here](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/2719d09f-3e49-465b-9799-51370bc3cf0a) by Kevin Wilson.
