Warning ESL
I would like to read a book per country. This is not a challenge or a new year’s goal. It’s just that I just picked a book by Jules Verne and thought “hey, why not?”. And after further thought I realized some countries are so big, old and diverse that you couldn’t pick a single book.
So here are the caveats: books from different countries or cultures, fiction (you can pick the flavor of fiction), preferably (but not limited to) stand alone works, preferably translated to (or originally written in) English or Spanish. Do not suggest on going series please. Comment as many books from as many countries as you want, I am not in a hurry to read them all and I’ll keep coming back to pick the next one.
I spent at least 45 minutes finding a way to make this request as straight forward as I could. But I think it’s still pretty convoluted. I’m sorry
