I decided to read the top 20, or 50 or 100 (let’s see how far I get) best fiction books of all time. But how to rank them? I looked at dozens of lists from reputable sources like the NY Times and Time Magazine with no clue what should be #1 or what should be #50. I cobbled together my own list but then I thought, the readers of Reddit! They will guide me true! So the question is, what would you rank as the greatest fiction of all time, what is your top 10? Not your favorite books though, that is not what I am asking. What books would you count (whether you have read them or not) as the greatest fiction ever written based on what you have read when you were browsing Reddit or from reading articles or podcasts… what would you think would be generally accepted as the top 10 books of all time? To get your brain aligned, I have read four so far off the list I aggregated from the internet: (To Kill a Mockingbird, The Great Gatsby, Anna Karenina and One Hundred Years of Solitude… and I am currently reading 1984, which I am loving). What else should I be reading?
