Edit: sorry about title! Was going to type “helped you on your journey”, but it got long and I meant to get rid of “on”. Whoops!

I’m seeking mainly fiction, but if a memoir was deeply helpful to your journey, I’m not opposed.

Bonus points if the story doesn’t focus on the main character experiencing something externally transitional or grand.

*For example, I’m totally down for a coming of age type of story, but I’d rather steer clear of “so I graduated and moved to a new city” or “I learned about myself through traveling the world”. I’d just prefer the focus was on an internal shift rather than an external one.

It doesn’t have to be inherently mundane, but it *can* be!

I don’t expect anything groundbreaking or life changing, but I’m looking to slowly shift my perspective. However, if you have a suggestion that rocked your world—please do share!;) TIA!

    2. Honestly, any Haruki Murakami book will fit just perfectly! You can DM me if you want a title suggestion, I would like to ask you a few questions before deciding. But you can go for Murakami.
