It could be about inventors, mathematicians, chess players, etc…just looking for a book (non-fiction) about people who were just one step ahead.
Basically, I’m just interested in a book or three on how smart people react to certain complex/difficult situations they encounter.

I’m currently reading I catch killers about an Australian homicide detective. It’s fast paced, thrilling and interesting.
Nobel Physicist Richard Feynman has several really interesting and fun books for a general audience. Very quirky character. Highly recommended.
