Epistolary mysteries and thrillers like The Appeal

I’m chasing the high of The Appeal by Janice Hallett and am very excited for the upcoming sequel. I want to be puzzling through a page-turner mystery — either forward through the plot or backward to track clues.

I love mysteries in general from cozy to mindfuck thrillers as long is it gets the cogs in my brain turning for trying to solve whatever is going on — and I do love a good twist. I just have struggled to find ones following the epistolary format. Hope you all have some recs!
