I was wondering if you have a comfort read that helped you during a trying period in your life? It can be fiction or non-fiction, and not necessarily something related to grief (though those are welcome too) but also something that made you smile and remember the good things in life or something related to a person you lost. I keep noticing that my mind is circling around grief and sadness related to it, but I need something to help me remember the joyful and happy moments.
I was advised to read these two books:
The Year of Magical Thinking” by Joan Didion
A Man Called Ove” by Fredrik Backman

I’m sorry for your loss OP. I liked The Secret Diary of Hendrick Groen 83 1/4 Years Old.
The power of now by eckhart tolle. I love all his books they’re about living in the moment and being present and how to live happier while conscious
