I’m currently in a book slump, so I’m looking for recommendations of books that can hook me in within the first chapter would be great. For example, ‘Verity’ by Colleen Hoover was superb to me. The first sentence of the book made me wanna read more of it.
I started reading some of Freida McFadden’s books, but they’re not as interesting as ‘The Maid’.
I also like The Therapist by B.A Paris. It literally made my jaw drop and gave me goosebumps.
