Trying to get more into reading. Last book I read was ‘Hail Mary Project” and adored it. I’m someone who typically gives up or loses interest about 1/3 in.

I’ll keep it short and sweet.

I love dystopian, post apocalyptic, futuristic, time travel but I am sure I enjoy more than that. Big into video games, science, space, coming of age stories. I feel my interests are so broad I never know where to start. Looking for something that can transport me into the world. I loved the wit of the author of Hail Mary Project (and the Martian). Last few books I read that I really enjoyed were

Martian
Jurassic Park
Haunting of Hillhouse
All the GOT books
LOTR

I just feel like I lose interest, which is really frustrating. I enjoy history too, fascinated with ancient times. I just don’t know what to go with, I look at the “top 20” books in the genres I like and nothing interests me. Watched Silo recently and loved the show, so thinking of starting ‘Wool’.

Any help would be appreciated
