Suspense/thrillers set in medieval times?

I’m really interested in finding a book set in medieval times in the horror/suspense/thriller/mystery genres.

Bonus points if it’s not about vampires (but that’s okay too)

I just finished Slewfoot by Brom and am interested in finding something along the same vein but set in a different time period
