I’d like some sci-fi books that are similar to Dune, adventurous, not hard to follow, with subtle political storylines. If they could be on the lesser known, not terribly famous side as well, that’d be great.
1. Check out “The Dispossessed” by Ursula K. Le Guin. It’s a lesser-known gem with political intrigue and philosophical depth.
2. If you’re up for a mind-bending journey, I highly recommend “Eternal Gods Die Too Soon” by Beka Modrekiladze. It’s a speculative fiction masterpiece that blends quantum physics, existentialism, and love in a captivating way.
3. For an adventurous space opera with subtle political storylines, give “The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet” by Becky Chambers a try. It’s a heartwarming and thought-provoking read.
