Hello everyone, I’ve just got into reading and I’m looking for a book that has complex characters and relationships. So far I have mostly read romance books and I feel like the connection between characters were too shallow. In all of the books, I wished that they focused more time on the connection and actually building up to a relationship. I want to read a book that focuses on the deeper aspects of a relationship, the good, the bad, and everything in between.. My next read was going to be Cleopatra and Frankenstein by Coco Mellors but after seeing a fair amount of negative reviews, I decided to look for a different book. Please give me suggestions! I’m open to all genres and don’t mind heavy topics. Thank you!
