So I’m in a fairly new book club of mostly queer woman in their early 30s. Some of them are moms. Most of the group enjoys literary fiction and non-fiction, but everyone is wanting to try our new genres. So far we have read Biography of X (which everyone hated haha) and The Marrow Thieves. We are coming up to the month I have to pick the book, and I’m at a loss as to what to pick.
Some of the ones I’m considering are:
– Nightbitch by Rachel Yoder
– Before the Coffee Gets Cold by Toshikazu Kawaguchi
– Once and Future Witches by Alix Harrow
All very different but on my TBR list. Do you think any of these would be good book club books? Any other recommendations?
