I used to read a lot until my undergrad started but I’ve recently realised I was obsessed with fantasy, mythology and romance fiction, the only 2 non-fiction books I read had female protagonists and I really enjoyed reading those (Not Without My Daughter & Memoirs of a Geisha)
I’m currently 21 – filling out college apps, giving interviews and overall just have a shit ton of pent up anxiety/frustration/rage.
Looking for books written by women and for women that fit well with my current state of mind!
P.S A friend recently suggested Bunny by Mona Awad and I really enjoyed the gore-ey, twisted vibe! Currently reading I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman.

Since you liked Bunny, definitely try “Catherine House” by Elisabeth Thomas – similar eerie dark academia vibes.
Spinning Silver by Naomi Novik checks your boxes – fantasy, folklore, romance, and centered on the perspectives of different women in the story.
A Thousand Ships by Natalie Haynes is also up your alley – a retelling of the Trojan War from the perspectives of the women involved.
