Plot born of boredom?

Hello!

Any books you can think of where the main character is bored with their life? And that’s sort of the catalyst for the rest of the plot? Fiction or non-fiction is fine.

Not super interested in kids during the summer kind of boredom but I’ll take anything you’ve got. Thanks!
