Definitely looking for fiction.
Things I’m not interested in are fantasy (as in things like LOTR etc), sci-fi, and crime thrillers (the ones that glorify cops/have cop protagonists specifically).
Other than that, I’m open to suggestions!
Edit: Some more basic info that may be helpful. I’m a college educated adult, so not looking for YA or anything similar.

We Were Once a Family by Roxanna Asgarian. It’s heavy but it’s top tier, engaging journalism.

Recently read City of Thieves. So good and very easy to read!!
Breakfast Of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut is my go to when i need to break out of a reading slump.
