Suggest me a fucked up book with a great plot twist?
I read a lot of thrillers and horror but not limited to these genres. I really enjoyed books like Woom, Tender is the Flesh, and Run Red. Open to any book that will make me say “what the fuck?” Thanks in advance!

I dunno about a great plot twist per se, it’s been a while since I read it but I don’t remember thinking wow what a surprise. But fucked up, definitely.
This is my favorite psychological thriller. “Stolen,” by Daniel Palmer man steals someone’s identity. Victim finds the thief and forces him to ‘play’ a game wherein the victim uses the thief and his wife to live out his sick twisted fantasies. Failure to play will result in unspeakable consequences

The Wasp Factory by Iain M. Banks is just the type of book you’re looking for.

My Summer Friend by Ophelia Rue is exactly what you’re describing in the title. The twist is really fucked up.
Really enjoyed Head Full of Ghosts by Paul Tremblay. Often twists feel either way too protected/predictable or wayyy too random and out of left field. Everything in this made perfect sense but was still shocking. It was like watching the Sixth Sense for the first time
