Looking for modern versions of the “monster/adventure of the day” dime novel series. Any theme or topic. Sci-fi, fantasy, spy, detective, military, pirates, western, anything.

I need pulp in the sense of larger than life heroes or crews. No or only minimal character development between adventures. Can be short stories or full length novels but should be a series.

Something along the lines of the Edge westerns.

An example would be the Murderbot series. Does have a bit of character development but the hero is definitely larger than life.
