Sooo I just finished reading Looking For Alaska and I loved it. Not so much the actual story but the pacing, the setting (I love the whole surrounded-by-forest-and-lakes high school setting and the fall to winter vibes this book brings), and most importantly, the characters. The book isn’t bad per se, it is actually very good for me and I would probably pick it up again from time to time, but I just feel like I would enjoy it more if it was between two gay guys given that I am one.
Please suggest me a book similar to this one! It doesn’t have to be exactly like it, just books with the whole high-school-for-smart-people setting with wired and ‘flawed’ characters and one where no one is dying or has to die. Just a lighthearted high school romance between gay guys in a similar manner to Looking For Alaska. Thank you!
