So let me explain. There are 3 scenarios where you can use these strategies mainly. For self defence, for good purposes and for bad purposes. Self defence is never bad for abvious reasons so that leaves the other two. I dont see the issue of using these tactics to achieve a good purpose. Even in this case, some people are dumber than others and can ruin opportunities or cause harm with their stupidness. I think this is where a manipulator can use his power for a good reason. The smart person can find out the true path and manipulate others to direct them into that path too. These tactics are not about always causing harm. The book actually never dictates for what purposes, power should be used. The book is only about achieving power. What you want to do with that power is entirely on your discretion.
A good leader can manipulate others to become the leader to save them from a tough situation, for example wars. It is all about how the individual wants to use their power for that will determine the moral issues and the book also teaches those who are being manipulated to get out of it.
Lastly, the book does not give like 250 iq advices. These are basic things you can learn by meeting more people. Me for example have met a lot of people and learned a lot about how people are going to reaact to my actions or how emotions work or how to behave etc etc. The book says for example, the past is only there for you to extract lessons from them which is something ive been doing for like 5 years but i read the book just recently. Which is a very good advice for everyone. I know people who go crazy over simple mistakes and do them again and again. They become very upset so that they want to forget that memory and dont think over it and learn why they failed.
In the end, i think a lot of people these days lack social skills and creativity. The school does not teach us human behaviour and about the real life an there is no incentive for most people to learn these things. Also this was the exact reason why i tried to know as many people as possible throughout my life. People are getting lonelier and lonelier over each day and the reason for it is that they are afraid of communicating with people in real life. People fear the unknown so i think this book is a good example of how we can teach those people about the real life and its struggles. If they know the dangers they may encounter beforehand, they will be less scared and more active in social settings because they will feel more secure.
There are two things that i liked the most in this book. One of them is that the book tells about a tactic and then about which kinds of people may be using that tactic and then provides an example for them. The example is extremely important here because making strategies is the hardest of all techniques and it requires high amounts of critical and analytical thinking skills and creativity. The book doesnt just tell you about a tactic and leave you there like a cheap ass self improvement youtube video but it lets you solve the mystery by yourself to train you so that it will be easier for you to recognize a manipulator when you see them in real life as well.
