    Hi!

I have some very very long readings ahead this year, and I would like to take breaks from those very long reads with short, essential books that contribute to round out my general culture and knowledge and that I can get down in a handful of days. Up to 200-300 pages depending on print size and pace.

I leave some books that I have already read as an example of what I’m looking for, but also as recommendations for you guys.

Short classics: The Prince, The Economic Consequences of the Peace, The Communist Manifesto, How to do Things With Words, Ecce Homo, The ABC of Relativity, Discourse on Voluntary Servitude, Against Method, The Logic of Collective Action.

I’m also open to short, easily readable contemporary essays like: How Democracies Die,On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century, or any other on any topic.

What I don’t like: self-help/entrepreneurism (Richdadpoordad, Atomic Habits, etc. business books like From Zero to One or billionnaire manifestos of any sort).

I’m also open to any of the “Very Short Introductions” from Oxford University Press that you’ve read and liked yourself, or anything of that sort.

Looking forward to reading your recs!
