I’m looking for a really good book by a Hungarian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Moldovan, Belarusian or Ukrainian author, preferably a novel, that helps me understand a little about the culture or history of those countries.
I know that not many authors or books are known from these countries but I would like someone who knows of a good book from these countries to recommend it to me.
