New mom, under the weather, seeking a book with a 90s/y2k vibe!

Hello! I’m seeking a bit of escapism while my partner is out and my little guy is sleeping.

I’m looking for a read that takes place in the 90s or 2000s, ideally in a big city. Walkmans, metros, divey bars, etc.

Apologies if this is too specific (or not specific enough) but I’m down with a head cold and this is the best my mind can do!
