Ones I’ve read recently, loved and could barely put down were:

    No Exit- Taylor Adams

    Every Last Fear- Alex Finlay

    Nina Guerrera Series- Isabella Maldonado

    North of Nowhere- Allison Brennan

    Postcard killers- James Patterson

The Spy Coast- Tess Gerritsen (Book 2 comes out 3/18)

The Buried Hours – R.J. Grant

Red Queen- Juan Gomez-Jurado (waiting for book 2)

These are just few. Not really into fantasy. Don’t mind a little romance if it’s not the main plot of the book. Thanks in advance.

Based on multiple recommendations in this sub, I recently blew right through *Red Rising* by Pierce Brown. A fast, fun, and exciting read.

in ***The Water Knife*** **by Paolo Bacigalupi**, the author strives for a gritty dystopian realism, in the near future. Gang slaying mystery, snoopy journalist associate, a murder witness, a dark MacGuffin, the fate of millions at stake, drone strikes, hyena bite torture, social decline, predatory corporations competing for public resources, water, knives, action up the balls

Thomas Perry is one of my favorite authors, especially the Jane Whitefield books. She’s a bad ass heroine who helps people escape from dangerous situations. I also like his Butcher’s Boy series about a hitman.

    4. This is probably a cliched recommendation for the thriller genre, but Jack Carr’s debut novel “The Terminal List” is phenomenal.
