Hiya, I’ve been looking for more books to read of late and while I am still on my fantasy kick I’ve realised a lot of the newer dark-fantasy stuff is just YA. I’m not a YA fan at all and am looking for something more philosophical kind of theme (I rly like Lovecraft and Machen as well as GRRM) – would prefer something that’s solitary rather than a series – bonus points if gods/mythology have a role to play – and isn’t set in our world or at least isn’t mostly set in it.
