Calm love?

Hi everyone!

I am searching for a book where there will be no “sparkling”, “thunder and lightning” love. Maybe not none, but if there is a choice between a stable person or the one, that gives jitters and butterflies (but which is obviously unhealthy relationship), the choice would be made for the stable person.

I am not sure if I am using correct words here, but a lot of places I look I see love based on lust: “I saw him/her and I immediately knew” (that’s basically saying they just fall in love with looks) – all that love based on beauty and physical aspects of relationship are not the one I am searching for.

I want stability. Maybe friends to lovers. Actually, would love a good friends to lovers. Friends, that truly understand each other.

I want deep conversations between the characters, understanding of each other, respecting each other. I get it that there is a reason why complete opposite is popular (there would be no interest in books where everything is so calm), but I do hope finding something of this sort.

Please tell me if anything of this sort comes to mind. I know that I put in a lot of specificity here, but it doesn’t have to be everything that I mentioned here – at least some similarities.
