I’m down for any genre except modern contemporary. I have a special place in my heart for fantasy/fantasy adjacent, horror, or historical. Nothing too dense please, and I love witty writing and engaging characters. Adult or YA suggestions are both welcomed!
For horror, I’m a huge fan of Andrew Joseph White. I devoured HELL FOLLOWED WITH US and THE SPIRIT BARES IT TEETH.
On the fun lighter end, I loved Lex Croucher’s GWEN AND ART ARE NOT IN LOVE.
For lush historical settings with *spice*, I enjoyed A MARVELLOUS LIGHT by Freya Marske.
Thank you!!!!!
