What’s a book with prose that sounds intellectual?

I’m reading David Copperfield right now and reading it sounds so good to orate. It sounds so intellectual and Charles Dickens uses words that I’ve never seen before and the articulation of thoughts is so good it makes me feel smart to read the text.

Idk how I would describe it but something like how Charles Dickens writes and how the writers of classic wrote? A book that uses high vocabulary but can still sound scholarly. Thank you.
