There was a book I read a long time ago like 6th 7th grade and it’s a book about a young kid I think boy but unsure and it’s a fantasy book about a normal world until the kid either gets brought or stumbles into the magical world and after awhile he gets taught magic by his teacher after some time and he knows how to like summon small dragons and throw cards. This is very broad I know but it’s all I remember other then I’m 90% sure it’s in a series. If I’m leaving anything off just dm on here and tell me and I’ll try and fill it in or give you more details I might remember.
