Just finished watching the new One Day mini series on Netflix, adapted from David Nicholls’ 2009 novel, and having read the book years ago, and also having read Normal People by Sally Rooney more recently, I can’t help but note the similarity between the two stories.
Naturally I came straight to Reddit to see what people were saying, and lo and behold, I saw a few people drawing the same comparisons to Normal People as well.
So that got me curious; of those who have read both books, which do you prefer: One Day or Normal People?
