I’m 22 and I’ve never had the attention span for reading books and I finally bought No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai since it was supposed to be a short read (170 pages). It still took me like a month to get through but I really liked how it made me feel. It was such a sad read, but it felt comforting.
Do you have others like this? Something sad while not being 300+ pages long. So far, I’m thinking about The Stranger by Albert Camus and The Setting Sun by Osamu Dazai.
