this new boy i drew fits this description for his tastes: he is what some would call a neo-liberal, meaning he is almost a free market absolutist and he loves all things pertaining to economics or business or government. similarly, he is obsessed with watches and all the ins and outs of collecting them, he is also a christian, loves biographies (some of his favorites being Ron Chernow’s “Hamilton”, Walter Isaacson’s “Elon Musk” and “Steve Jobs”), he also loves classic literature (Doestoyevsky especially), he also has recently gotten into philosophy. he is also right leaning and likes to read social commentaries by more conservatives authors (like thomas sowell)
for reference, books i’ve considered getting him are, 1. Dominion by Tom Holland 2. The History of Political Philosophy Edited by Leo Strauss and 3. Intellectuals by Paul Johnson.
My scope of books is quite small so any suggestions which may appeal to him would be most welcome.
