I’m often driving around a first grader who likes to listen to audiobooks on car trips and he wants books with dragons or other monsters.
For calibration, he’s read all the Dragon Masters books and I think would like something a bit more substantial. He liked the My Father’s Dragon series. We’ve listened to Dragon Pearl and Creatures of the Inbetween, which are Middle Grade novels and he liked them, but would rather have more monsters and less geopolitics.
