I’m in a rough patch and having a hard time focusing on lighter content. I’d love recs for:
* Fiction featuring a character dealing with difficult circumstances, depression, chronic illness, grief, etc. I recently enjoyed *Never Let Me Go*, for instance.
* Nonfiction ideally featuring the stories of people dealing difficult circumstances (memoir, journalistic, etc.). For instance my last devour was *Nothing to Envy* about the experiences of North Korean defectors. Also looking for books in the vein of *Angela’s Ashes*.
Really appreciate any recs 🙂
