Some other books I’ve loved have been Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, A Passage to India by EM Forster and Translations by Brian Fridel.

I love reading about history, and find imperial/post-colonial texts the most interesting.
I also enjoy reading about different countries/cultures (in english), so any books with a particular regionality or sense of place would be great!

Also… if you have any non-fiction within the realm of post colonial literature to recommend please do!

its late colonial so you might not like but i would recommend Dumb Luck by Vu Trong Phung. It takes place in Hanoi, Vietnam during the French Indochina period. It’s a relatively light novel but amazing to read with postcolonial theories.
